Records & how to follow along

Every agenda, packet and minutes. How to ask for records.

The city posts agendas and packets at crocketttexas.org/meetings. Minutes are adopted at the next meeting and appear in that meeting's packet.

Ask for records

Anyone can ask for city records under the Texas Public Information Act (Gov't Code ch. 552). Send a written request to the City Secretary by mail, hand delivery or email, describing the records you want. The city must promptly produce them or, within 10 business days, ask the Attorney General for a ruling. [Tex. Gov't Code §552.221, §552.301; Texas AG guide]
